Before and Afterschool Enrichment and Intervention Programs: These programs take place throughout the school year.
Homework Club: Mon-Friday from 7:30-8:15 AM. Students receive homework help and academic assistance in this program. The program is free of charge.
Intervention Classes: The afterschool intervention program is designed to provide additional learning opportunities for students who need to improve their grade proficiency. Students are chosen by their classroom teachers to participate in this program. Most of these classes are thought by Columbine teaching staff. This program is free of charge and takes place from 3-4:05 pm, Monday – Thursday.
Afterschool Enrichment Classes: These classes change every year, based upon students interest, parents interest, and school needs. The goal is to provide students with a wide array of fun academic and non- academic classes. The flyers for this academic program are attached. The classes are free for the students who participate in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program. There is a small fee for non low income students and FRS can provide scholarships to families who need assistance to pay for the classes. Classes typically run from 3-4:05 pm Monday – Thursday. These classes are divided into two sessions per academic year:
Fall: 10 week program from September – November
Winter Spring: 12 week program from January – May
