Our PE teacher, Jorge Rodriquez, finished 33rd (out of over 2,050 racers) in the Boulder IRONMAN Triathlon race on August 4, 2014. The Boulder Ironman Triathlon consisted of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim in the Boulder Reservoir, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run, raced in that order and without a break. The Ironman Triathlon is widely considered one of the most difficult one-day sporting events in the world. What a great role model for our student athletes! Congratulations Coach Jorge!!!
